There’s still a chance to enjoy the end of the Welsh summer sunshine, by joining in the Sponsored Walk for Epilepsy Wales on Sunday 25th September
The plan is to meet in the car park of Tonyfelin Surgery in Caerphilly (CF83 1XP) at 8.15am. The surgery is closed on Sunday, so cars can be left there all day. It’s also right opposite the castle so handy at the end of the walk. A bus will then take us to up to Rhymney Bridge so we can start walking down about 9am.
The walk will be about 18 miles in total. As a rough guide we’ll be walking at around 3 miles per hour. With a few stops along the way, we should be finished by 5pm-ish. If you fancy doing a part of the walk, that would be great too (we’ll arrange to meet on the way).
After a bit of a ‘reccy’ last week, you can look forward to stunning views, industrial estates, wild animals, bike trails, pubs, wetlands, chicken farms and a viaduct. If that’s not sold it, nothing will.
